Installation Instructions:
- Plan the drain layout and mark the installation area.
- Excavate a trench 8 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Ensure a slight slope (1/8 inch per foot) for proper water flow.
- Pour a 2-inch layer of gravel or sand in the trench and compact it.
- Connect the channel sections using the built-in snap-together system.
- Install an end cap or outlet adapter at the end of the channel run.
- Place the assembled channel in the trench, ensuring it's level and at the desired height.
- Secure the channel by backfilling with concrete, leaving 1/8 inch below the top edge for the grate.
- Allow the concrete to cure according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Snap the grates into place along the channel.
- Finish the surrounding area with your desired surface material, ensuring it's slightly higher than the drain to promote water flow.
